Check-in on the day of arrival to Hostel Idrija is possible after 16:00 hours and the latest until the end of reception working hours (in case of late arrival beforehand announcement no later than 1 day before is mandatory with additional cost of 1€ per person). On the day of departure the room must be emptied and chek-out finalised until 10:00 hours. If not extra day will be charged.

- Saturday: 14.00 – 20.00
- Sunday and holidays: 14.00 – 20.00
- Check–in: from 16:00 to 20:00
- Check-out: from 8:00 to 10:00
Entrance key, room key, fresh linnen and towel are provided at arrival.
Before departure of individual or group the staff of Hostel Idrija checks the rooms in presence of individual or group leader. In case of major negligence extra fee for cleaning is charged up to 20€ for groups or 10€ for individual persons.
Afterhours silence from 22:00 to 08:00 in the morning is required. Please do not disturb other guests during this time!
Items that guests forget in their rooms are kept for 30 days, then discarded or handed over to local charity / humanitarian / ecological organizations, depending on the situation.
Any guest visits must be announced at the reception desk at Idrija staff!
The longest total number of overnight stays in Hostel Idrija is 30 days.
The guest kitchen and dining room is intended for all guests of Hostel Idrija. After each use, clean the dish, the work surface and the chairs and tables. It is forbidden to carry the inventory from the rooms and the common areas of Hostel Idrija.
Store your food in the fridge in the guest kitchen, mark it with your name and date of departure. All unmarked foods and foods with expired shelf life will be discarded.
Stay and use
Please do not damage or remove objects that are intended for accommodation and stay of guests at Host Idrija.
Please do not change the spatial layout in rooms and meeting rooms without prior consultation with the staff.
The guest is responsible for the damage caused by his fault or by the fault of those responsible and those who visit him. For intentional damage or removal of items, we charge you with appropriate costs.
Workers at Hostel Idrija reception are authorized to implement the house rules and have the right to implement these measures on the premises of the hostel.
In the event of failure to comply with the Hostel Idrija house rules, the following measures are implemented against the perpetrator: temporary or permanent ban on entry into the hostel premises, removal from the hostel, request for reimbursement of the damage caused and loss of income due to the damage done. In the event of serious violations, the police is called.
The amount of damage is determined by the host within the actual cost of remedying the damage. The costs are settled directly at Hostel Idrija. Exceptions are permitted only in agreement with the leadership of MC Idrija. In the event that the client does not agree with this, the damage is determined by the regular legal procedure for which the District Court of Nova Gorica is competent.
Each guest receives free bedding and towels for use at Host Idrija, and at the reception you can change the bed linen for free after 7 days, towels can be changed free of charge after 5 nights. Change of bedding in a shorter time than this is charged according to the valid price list.
The rooms are cleaned once a week during your stay at Idrija Hostel. During this time, please make sure and keep your rooms clean.
For security reasons, it is forbidden to lean over windows or fences of balconies. Windows may only be used for ventilating rooms. Window shelves should not be used for sitting, and the screaming and throwing of objects and waste through the window is prohibited.
We are not responsible for the injuries of the guests.
Pets and other animals are permitted in the hostel upon prior notice and an appropriate surcharge according to the valid price list.
Guests can only accept guests in the shared dining room and on the terrace.
Accommodation in the Hostel Idrija that is not registered and not paid for is strictly forbidden!
Keep valuables with you. We are not responsible for stealing, loss or damage to personal items at the Hostel Idrija.
Alcohol, smoking, illegal substances and weapons
The consumption of alcohol is prohibited throughout the facility, as well as the ingestion and storage of alcohol in rooms.
Smoking is strictly forbidden in the whole building!
The storage and consumption of alcohol in rooms, the possession and consumption of drugs, or the possession and use of weapons are highly prohibited! In the event of failure to comply with this rule, the hostel personnel may confiscate such goods and inform the police!
Please do not behave inappropriately and disrespectfully towards other guests and staff. In the event of serious misconduct, we will inform the police.
In the event of a fire alarm, immediately leave the rooms and the facility after the emergency exits displayed. Emergency exits are also appropriately marked throughout the facility. Collective assembly place is located on the parking lot in front of Hostel Idrija. The fire line and the signs of the emergency exits are displayed in the rooms and common rooms of Hostel Idrija.
Inform yourself about the location of the fire alarm and fire extinguishers, follow the instructions of the fire and follow the instructions of the personnel.
The use of heating and cooking appliances in rooms is not allowed due to fire safety.
The control of the implementation of the house rules is performed by
MC Idrija as a user of the facility and staff of Hostel Idrija. They are entitled to check at any time without permission of the guest the compliance with the house rules anywhere on the premises of Host Idrija!
